Tips to remove a tick

In order to avoid the transmission of tick borne diseases, ticks must be removed from your pet's skin as fast as possible.

After each walk, have a look at your pet's skin. In case of tick attachment, you should ask your vet for advices after tick removal.

Removing ticks is difficult as you have to take all of the tick's head off.

The use of a dedicated twister makes it easier. The use of gloves is recommended. You can keep the tick in a jar until further notice from your veterinarian.
